The Pearl Harbor Survivors Project is sponsored by the Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund (PHMF), which was established by the Arizona Memorial Museum Association (AMMA).
The PHMF seeks to raise the funds needed to construct a new facility to replace the USS Arizona Memorial's current deteriorating and inadequate Museum and Visitor Center at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The building has an estimated life of 4 to 9 years.
This new facility, to be known as the Pearl Harbor Memorial Museum and Visitor Center, will house an expanded state-of-the-art museum, a new research and educational center with a library and teleconferencing facility, an outdoor amphitheater, movie theatres for education and visitor orientation, an expanded book shop, and improved visitor space and facilities. The museum is designed to be the primary repository of artifacts and information related to the Attack on Pearl Harbor and the War in the Pacific.
Remember, Understand, Honor & Give from the Heart.
