Andrew Deshotel, U.S.Navy retired
I, Andrew Deshotel, born 9-25-21, served in the regular U.S. Navy from March 1940 thru March 1960. In September 1940, I was an instructor in a electronic school in San Diego, Ca., at which time I was assigned to the USS Conyngham (DD-371)(as radioman)in Pearl Harbor and was aboard and on duty of that ship Dec. 7th 1941. I served aboard this ship until the war in the Pacific was over. I served 20 years in the regular navy and 10 years in the reserves retiring as Chief Radioman. As of this date I am still alive and well. This means I am still a Survivor.
